Why did Aldo choose field hockey? ![]() | |
|
At first, Aldo's parents tried to figure out what would fit best for their son.
He went to several sport camps, where he tried tennis, soccer, lacrosse, and even ice hockey, like his father.
None of these could compare, however, to Aldo diSorbo's "connection" from the very first moment with field hockey.
His first coach said that he was born to do this, but young Aldo wasn't so sure. He continued his search a few more years, finally coming back to field hockey. His talent was spotted almost immediately, and he was the only freshman on the high school team to play in a starting position. |
