At the age of 16, Aldo diSorbo had the opportunity he had been waiting for: his coach decided to take him to the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.
Although he didn't play then, that experience shaped his goals for his entire life.
The Olympics became the tangible "miracle" that he could obtain if he worked hard enough.
Aldo diSorbo saw with his own eyes, how hard work is really repaid, and what it meant to have the honor to participate in the Olympics. The same event also helped him get to know a lot of valuable players. He began to develop friendships with them, and they taught him a lot of techniques that he would use throughout his career. |
