Where did Aldo diSorbo come from?

Aldo diSorbo was born in a small town near the capital of the country, and as a child, he has always been fascinated by sports. He tried several different sports, but his true passion became field hockey. His father played ice hockey in college, and some say that he wanted, in some ways, to be like his father. On the other hand, Aldo diSorbo didn't want to replicate his father's life. Field hockey seemed to be the perfect solution for him.

Aldo diSorbo chose to play field hockey during high school and college. Even though his professors thought a lot of practicing might negatively affect his academic performance, he maintained a high GPA, and even found time to tutor his teammates when they needed help. Once he graduated, though, Aldo diSorbo focused all of his attention onto his main goal: participating in the Olympics.
