Aldo diSorbo in the Olympics

The 2004 Olympics that took place in Athens was one event that Aldo diSorbo prepared for, for a very long time. Unfortunately, during one of his practices before the big event, he injured his arm. Although he considered it a minor injury, the trainer would not allow him to play, considering it to be too dangerous for his health.

With no other options, he decided to help his teammates in the best way he knew how - by using his coaching experience. He offered moral support throughout the event and assisted the coach and the trainers. His team never received any medals, but in the end, all the players congratulated Aldo diSorbo for his courage, and thanked him for his efforts in supporting the team through hard times.
